Responsibilities
The Chandler Economic Development Corporation is the economic development group managing economic development for the City of Chandler, Texas. If a local company is planning to expand or if a business from outside the region wants to locate in Chandler, the EDC’s staff is available to help them.

The Chandler Economic Development Corporation was created by the voters of Chandler under the Development Act of 1979 (Texas Revised Civil Statutes Article 5190.6) section 4B for the purpose of creating and retaining primary jobs. The Corporation’s independent board of directors, consisting of seven voting members, is appointed by the mayor and city council.
