Chandler Lions Club
  • Annual Pancake and Spaghetti Suppers - set up, clean up, etc. 
  • Collect aluminum cans to raise funds - hold a special can collection event 
  • Nursing Home parties - host special events for the residents 
  • Lions Club gives Citizenship Awards - mentor younger children 
  • Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville – identify special needs students that can attend the camp; possibly serve as a counselor at the camp 
  • White Can Day - annual event to collect donations to help the blind 
  • Eyeglasses - assist in the collection of used eye glasses for redistribution 
  • Pow Wow Parade - Participate in the Pow Wow Parade

God's Open Hands (Food Pantry & Thrift Store)
  • Hold a food drive (especially before the holidays) 
  • Help with hauling, lifting, moving canned goods, and other supplies 
  • Sorting through donated clothes, moving clothes in / out of storage

Keep Chandler Beautiful
  • Spring clean-up in conjunction with Keep America Clean Trash-off 
  • Recycle Center is open the first and third Wednesday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and on the second and fourth Saturday from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
    • Unload recycling from people’s vehicles, sort the recycling, start a recycling-awareness campaign in your community or neighborhood
  • Special projects such as landscaping areas of the city, putting out flags, setting up / cleaning up at fundraisers
